This listing is for a modification service for your Glock Field Knife 78/81. YOU will send ME your knife and I will modify it with a steel hex pommel end cap for emergency hammering, breaking, etc. This improves the usefulness of the Glock Field Knife. My process includes: *Removing the plastic end cap. *Cutting threads into metal tube/bayonet attachment in the handle. *Installing a steel hex cap bolt that I have polished and treated with gun-bluing for looks & corrosion resistance. *A rubber O-ring is also added. This modification is "semi-permanent". Thread-locker is added to secure the bolt. However, it could be removed with a wrench if you choose. There is virtually no leftover space in the bayonet lug, so the Glock knife shouldn't be considered a "hollow handle survival knife".. (Your original plastic cap will be returned to you as well).. 1.
