The blade is off what was originally a decorative sword, and has dull, actually slightly squared-off edges. This is not a shiny-new cookie-cutter product, but a sword of new, solid construction that’s finished to look well-used.

The scabbard has a custom belt hanger made with leather and brass. The sword is paired with a wood-core scabbard which is fitted over in tight leather and finished with a steel chape. Edge: Blunt. For HEMA, this product has been classified as either appropriate for all skill levels or appropriate for those with Advanced Skills.

Condition:The piece is in excellent pre-owned condition. The hilt is tight with zero rattle or loose play. The leather on the handle wrap and scabbard collar remains supple and intact.
