This pocket tool was personalized for the Independent Lift Truck Builders Union in Danville, Illinois and has a union member’s name on the back. The Hyster plant was built in 1946 and remained a key part of the community until the end of the century. There is still a parts warehouse and the union is presumably much smaller after the plant closing. I guess this item is more than 25 years old, a little piece of local history. Also, a mini utility knife.
